Mothers Day Give Away

This is my Mom, Alice Yeargin...

She came to visit about 7 weeks ago to help out after the birth of little Quinn. After Cooper was born, she flat out told me she wouldn't come back if I had a fifth. :) My life is crazy, I'll admit it!! Of course the minute she knew the due date she began planning her trip. Not only did she help out, she did it all. She was amazing and literally saved the day.

Thanks Mom!!!

This is why my Mom deserves a really cute apron.

We are starting a give away today for Mothers Day. The lucky winner will receive a darling apron made out of our favorite Amy Butler fabrics. Either click on comments to tell us why the special Mom in your life should have it or email us here. We will mail the apron with a card explaining why its being sent to them and who its from. Be sure to include your email with the comment so we can notify you and get your Moms name and address.
Good Luck and we can't wait to read your comments!!
Winner will be announced Monday.

I think I deserve the apron b/c I just made yummy banana bread for my kids. Actually, I was forced to bake since I haven't been to the store in who knows how long and they already polished off the old candy canes from Christmas... So, top that!!! :)

When it all began....

We sew handbags, lots and lots of handbags. All our own designs, with our favorite fabrics.

This photo was taken last October after we saw a little space for rent in the best part of our town. We had a great summer sewing like crazy from our homes and we were convinced this would make our lives so much simpler... Not so much simpler, but a lot more fun! Well, sometimes... Because, now we make handbags and run a store.

We have kids, a lot of kids. Seven between us, most of them mine. I don't like to say it out loud, but I have five. (It's much easier to write) So, our lives are crazy and if you have been in our store you know there is usually at least one hanging around. My favorite thing is when customers apologize for bringing their own children in the store. Trust me EVERYTHING is child proof or at least child tested. So never fear, bring your kids, we don't mind. Or, just shop online then no one can hear them screaming in the background!!!

Danielle and I started this blog to keep you up to date with our store and our lives. Givaways coming soon and don't forget to check out our website. www.wildsagebags.com
